Had a really nice roast pork dinner pack, three big, thick juicy slices of pork and a ton of scalloped potatoes and roast vegies, all smothered with apple sauce and gravy.I got the large pack as I'm a big boy and can down some really big serves but this almost had me beat, super filling and a really decent meal for the price. It even came with a small bag of crackling!The service was good, the young lad was friendly and happy to explain what was in the packs.For a quick, filling, decent meal I highly recommend checking this place out.
I’m a sucker for a scalloped potatoes, however this was more oil/butter then it was anything else, very little to no cream, I paid $40 for this, 3 roast potatoes and a medium carrots with gravy to be delivered, the 3 roasted potatoes were good and I’d be lying if I said they weren’t but the carrots weren’t peeled properly and the scallops speaks for itself, I will not be back after this is what I received for a decent amount of money. Instead I will give it to Stockade on rubicon or country roasts what a shocker.
Quality of the chips has started to go down hill, not as crispy and under seasoned (not enough salt)Lemon meringue pie is significantly smaller then it used to be (two months ago), when I asked if I could return it to the store and have it refunded the guy on the phone said that was fine. But the lady is store was rude and argumentative.This used to be a great restaurant a few months ago, but it seems the quality and quantity of food is already started to decrease.

Always wanted to try major roast. Service sucked, rude teenagers. Food was alright. Chips were good, roast roll was good, stingy with meat in the roast pack. Won’t be returning, carpenter waaaaaayyyy better.
Disappointed regular customer ordered a half chicken dinner pack and asked for no onion and a slice of lemon meringue pie. Well to my horror a massive lump of onion in the mix and could barely see the gravy. So i go onto my lemon meringue i did not know you could slice it that thin, with the peace in the display looking the generous. I know thing are expensive and times are tuff but i still paid top dollar for tea only wanted what i paid for, i can only hope they can address these minor issues and stop being stingy and tight. The food is nice and i will still shop there but please can you do your regulars wright no need to skip on the little things. little bit disappointed Nigel
